Where you'll work
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science sits at the edge of City Park with 716,000 square feet of dinosaurs, gems, space science, and live animals. Millions of guests walk through every year. Our mission — igniting the community's passion for nature and science — isn't a slogan. It shapes everything we do, including how we market.
We're hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to run the engine that makes it all move.
An exciting moment to join
This role comes at a remarkable time for the Museum. This fall, we open a fully renovated east wing — a campus-style outdoor gathering place anchored by an updated historic theater and lobby, featuring a new projection system, a stage for lectures and events, and enhanced accessibility. Made possible by the Sturm Family Foundation, it transforms how guests experience the Museum from the moment they arrive.
And in 2027, we unveil the Dea Family Gems and Minerals Hall — a 50% expanded, completely reimagined space built around the theme My World is Made of Minerals. It's designed to change the way guests understand the role minerals play in daily life, and it will be one of the most talked-about openings in the Museum's history.
The person in this role will help market both. That's a rare opportunity.
The Role
The Marketing Operations Manager plays a key role in connecting marketing strategy, campaign performance, department resources and operational systems for the Marketing & Communications department.
This position helps ensure marketing efforts are aligned with attendance and revenue goals, thoughtfully prioritized and supported with the right resources. Working closely with the vice president, internal teams and agency partners, this role brings structure and visibility to campaign planning, budget management, workflow and performance reporting.
You will manage the department’s annual operating budget across paid media, creative production, agencies, contractors and vendor spend. You will also build and maintain the systems, dashboards and workflows that help the department stay focused, coordinated and responsive to changing priorities.
This role supervises marketing execution staff and helps guide the work of agency partners, contractors and vendors.
