This role ensures that the organization's digital presence is optimized, its marketing data is actionable, and its technology investments deliver measurable results. The position requires both analytical precision and an understanding of how digital channels serve census, lead generation, and philanthropic goals. This position reports to the Chief Development & Marketing Officer and collaborates closely with the Content & Digital Manager, Sales, and the externalQualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, data analytics, or related field5+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or a related roleHands-on experience with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact or equivalent), Google Analytics, and paid search managementFamiliarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation conceptsWorking knowledge of WordPress; ability to manage a web agency relationship without requiring deep development expertiseStrong analytical skills and comfort translating data into clear, actionable recommendationsSenior care or healthcare experience preferred; understanding of HIPAA implications for marketing data a plusResponsibilities: Website & Digital PresenceServe as the primary internal point of contact for the external web agency managing jewishhomelife.org website (WordPress)Review and approve website updates, ensure content accuracy across all entity pages, and coordinate new page development or redesign projectsMonitor site performance metrics (traffic, bounce rates, conversion paths) and bring data-driven recommendations to the Chief Development & Marketing OfficerEnsure SEO alignment with organizational marketing strategy and with the SEM agency, and flag content gapsFamiliar with emerging search optimization disciplines, including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), with a willingness to develop expertise as these channels grow in strategic importance.Email Marketing & AutomationOwn the Constant Contact account, including list management, segmentation, campaign builds, and performance reportingDevelop and maintain email workflows and automation sequences for resident inquiries, donor communications, and event follow-upEnsure all email practices comply with HIPAA requirements and organizational data governance policiesSupport Development communications by executing email campaigns in coordination with Blackbaud dataSEM & Paid MediaManage the day-to-day relationship with the external SEM agency, including Google Ads (including Google Grants), paid search, paid socials, and display campaignsReview monthly reporting, ensure budget pacing, and translate agency recommendations into organizational decisions for the Chief Development & Marketing OfficerTrack lead volume and cost-per-lead by service lineCRM, Analytics & ReportingManage marketing-related use of WelcomeHome (senior living CRM), Trella (hospice CRM) and FURTHER (lead generation), ensuring data integrity and team adoptionBuild and maintain a unified marketing reporting dashboard (Google Looker Studio or equivalent) covering web, email, paid media, social, and lead generationProduce monthly and quarterly performance reports for the Chief Development & Marketing Officer and senior leadership, aligned to the department's strategic goalsEvaluate MarTech stack annually, identifying redundancies, gaps, and upgrade opportunitiesPartner with entity Executive Directors and sales/admissions teams to ensure digital channels, lead tracking, and CRM workflows align with census and occupancy goals across service linesServe as the internal liaison for all marketing technology platforms, including onboarding new users, developing training materials, and maintaining documentation to support consistent adoption across departmentsLead change management efforts when implementing new tools, workflows, or platform migrations — communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels, setting expectations, and providing ongoing support through transitionsManage day-to-day relationships with agency partners, technology vendors, and the external web agency, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and performance benchmarks are metCollaborate with Development as needed to ensure data integrity, platform compliance, and budget accountability across the MarTech stackServe as a resource and thought partner to entity leadership and frontline staff who interact with marketing systems, bridging the gap between technical capability and practical, day-to-day workflowsThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the staff member for this job.
