As a Marketing Project Manager, you will act as the campaign manager, planning, organizing, communicating, and driving all marketing campaigns, product launches, and projects across the marketing department. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, the marketing team, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
While the majority of project work will support the Marketing department, this role also extends to initiatives supporting Community & Government Affairs and Community Education & Employee Development.
What you will need to be successful:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Proven ability to lead end-to-end project management for marketing campaigns, product promotions, and enterprise initiatives, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery. Coordinate closely with internal teams including Product Marketing, Creative, Digital, Compliance, Data, and business line leaders to drive alignment, streamline workflows, and meet deadlines. Support the development and execution of integrated marketing plans tied to product launches and lifecycle initiatives, contributing to cohesive and effective go-to-market strategies.
Campaign Execution:
Project manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social, and in-branch channels, ensuring cohesive delivery across touchpoints. Translate product and enterprise marketing initiatives into effective, channel-specific campaigns and materials that resonate with target audiences. Monitor project progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to keep initiatives on track. Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines, compliance and regulatory requirements, and high-quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment from initiation through completion. Facilitate regular project check-ins, status meetings, and post-campaign reviews to maintain momentum and drive continuous improvement. Coordinate marketing deliverables with internal creative teams, vendor partners, and external agencies to ensure timely and high-quality execution. Foster strong collaboration between Marketing and branch, lending, deposit, business, and wealth teams to support alignment and achieve execution excellence.
Process & Operations:
Proven ability to optimize workflows, documentation, and project management practices to maximize team efficiency and consistency. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project tracking within the Asana project platform to ensure visibility and accountability. Support the continuous improvement of marketing processes, including intake, planning, and launch coordination, to enhance overall operational effectiveness and execution quality.
Collaboration & Relationship Management:
Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as with external partners and vendors.
Organization & Execution Discipline:
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and bring structure and discipline to complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required. Three or more years of experience managing marketing campaigns, agency work, or creative projects required. Experience in financial services, credit union, or banking environments preferred.
