Marketing Project Manager

Marketing Project Manager Job Summary:

Sparks Group and a well-known company in Washington, DC have partnered to find a Marketing Project Manager for a long-term contract. This position will require you to work onsite in Washington, DC four (4) days a week. As the Marketing Project Manager, you will be shepherding the delivery of strategic programs and content from initiation to execution and ongoing adaptation. You will be key in delivering strategies, capabilities & ways of working within the Marketing organization and ensuring scoping, resourcing, execution and adoption is aligned and prioritized as appropriate. You will also be responsible for helping develop and refine tools, templates, and standard methodologies to continuously improve our program management capabilities.

Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Conducts research and gathers data from various sources in response to inquiries from internal and external entities and keeps department leadership apprised on matters that may have an impact on the delivery of the department’s mission
• Provides strategic support, guidance, and management for a broad range of projects to include program and policy assignments pertinent to the mission of the department
• Develops, monitors, and coordinates viable strategic activities and programs to enhance organizational management/development opportunities.
• Act as a high-level, coordinating manager to ensure business owners and decision makers have appropriate information, decisions are made in the necessary timeframes, and project ownership is assigned to and prioritized by appropriate partner teams.
• Advise and guide business owners and stakeholders on managing key project achievements including defining functional specifications, establishing timelines and success criteria, leading participation in partner meetings, helping senior leadership understand and evaluate trade-offs and ensuring appropriate information flow across teams and functions.
• Identify strategic gaps and evaluate opportunities for new initiatives and tools to support efforts across the organization.
• Ensure streamlined, constructive communications about all assigned projects to all partners.
• Support the design and development of operating models and process solutions to ensure appropriate implementation of strategic projects.
• Act as an effective steward of project budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams through execution of assigned projects and effectively lead projects.

Marketing Project Manager Qualifications:

• BA/BS Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications project management, preferable in a large service organization setting.
• A track record for driving execution and delivering results in diverse organizational environments
• Experience working with creative teams and agencies.
• Understanding of owned marketing channels.

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $45.00 to $50.00
