Company Overview:

The James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational takes place March 1-7, 2027, at the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Fla. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a purse of $2.2 million dollars. Playing alongside the Champions Tour players will be 26 football legends, who will tee it up on Friday and Saturday of the event. Benefitting the Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, and The First Tee Florida Gold Coast, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary:

This internship will focus on increasing the tournament's visibility in the community and creating, distributing, and publishing content that reaches and engages our fans through the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational's social and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, displays excellent verbal and written communication skills, knows what sporting trends are relevant, must be able to work well under pressure, in a team environment, be keen to detail, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry. Candidates must have good experience with Canva.

Position Details:

• Help build social media and newsletter calendar
• Write copy for emails/social media/website and proofread copy for public distribution
• Design website wireframes and revise active website pages
• Monitor social media posts/comments/replies on a regular basis to understand consumer feedback
• Help maintain photo database
• Develop graphic content of real-time daily, weekly, and monthly storylines around golf and PGATC to represent these moments
• Compile regular metrics reports, including social media, websites, and video metrics
• Seek out social media collaborations with local influencers, organizations, etc.
• Create and edit social media style reels for short form content story telling
• Assist Marketing Manager with media day preparation

Qualified Applicants Must Have:

• A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
• Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and willingness to work evenings, long hours, and weekends
• Great attitude, work ethic, and enthusiasm for learning at all levels
• Full availability during advance and tournament week (February 22 - March 8)
• Internships will run from January 6 - March 12, 2027

Eligibility

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application and throughout internship period. Receiving academic credit is optional
• Applicants should reside near Boca Raton or be willing to commute to Boca Raton
• A resume and cover letter should be submitted as an attachment to the application
• Please note internships are unpaid
