What We Do/Project

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the  Studios Marketing team during a busy period. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns for all areas of the Studios Burbank business. This varied role covers all areas of marketing, including website management, social media, digital marketing, design work and events branding, alongside supporting the day-to-day smooth running of the department.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

  • Marketing & Communications Support
    • Partner with the Marketing Director to support delivery of marketing strategy, campaigns and key initiatives
    • Create and manage content across newsletters, presentations, social media, website and news stories
    • Collate, write and edit engaging content for digital channels, internal comms and marketing materials
  • Digital & Social Media
    • Support day-to-day management of social media channels, including content creation, scheduling and community engagement
    • Capture and curate content for social and digital use
    • Assist with digital content production, including showreels, interviews and video assets
    • Maintain and update website content
  • Campaigns, Partnerships & Events
    • Support delivery of partnerships, sponsorships, events and industry collaborations
    • Coordinate listings, adverts and sponsorship packages with external partners
    • Provide Marketing support for events
  • Creative & Brand
    • Design and produce marketing materials, supporting larger creative projects where required
    • Ensure brand consistency across all outputs, including digital, print and on-site materials
    • Manage and organise a central library of marketing and content assets
    • Liaise with suppliers to produce branded merchandise and marketing collateral
  • Operations & Admin
    • Manage stock levels and ordering of promotional materials
    • Support marketing budgets, including raising purchase orders and payments
    • Provide ad-hoc support across campaigns, business units and studio initiatives as required

Must Have Skills / Requirements

  • Organization skills and attention to detail
    a. 2+ years; Managing multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    a. 2+ years; Ability to communicate well with multiple levels of business from Junior stakeholders to executives.
  • Digital and Technology familiarity
    a. 2+ years; Need experience with multiple technologies and are highly adaptable.

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Previous experience in Media and Entertainment is a bonus.
  • Passion for film and television industry.
  • Portfolio included in resume.
