Job Title: Marketing Specialist (Campaign & Project Support)
Location: Hybrid at downtown Columbus location
Schedule: Normal business hours, Monday - Friday
Pay: $27.50/hr
Anticipated Start: ASAP

Role Summary:

Join our client's Marketing team in supporting the development and execution of business and marketing strategies designed to drive long-term, sustainable growth. This role combines project coordination, marketing communications, analytics, branding, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.

What You'll Do:

• Support the development and execution of business and marketing strategies and action plans
• Assist with short- and medium-term marketing projects and initiatives
• Prioritize, forecast, schedule, and coordinate resources across assigned projects
• Conduct decision-support analysis and use data to inform business and marketing recommendations
• Analyze market, competitor, and customer insights to help identify business opportunities and target audiences
• Support brand management and ensure consistency of the customer and brand experience
• Assist with the development, testing, and evaluation of marketing communications and campaigns
• Prepare and deliver internal and external presentations and communications
• Coordinate marketing and creative projects, including meetings, status updates, timelines, and project reporting
• Monitor project deadlines, milestones, budgets, work plans, administration, and logistics
• Track and measure project results and marketing performance
• Contribute to marketing capability development across the team and organization
• Participate in team projects, training, development, workflow planning, and organizational initiatives
• Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Graduate-level studies in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• In-depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, insurance and/or financial services products, distribution systems, and customer needs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze research, interpret findings, and develop data-driven marketing recommendations
• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to develop and review research studies and communicate findings effectively
• Experience developing or negotiating contracts/service agreements with internal contacts is a plus
• Proficiency with personal computers and advanced business software
• Insurance or financial services experience preferred
