The Opportunity:

Tetra Tech is on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Specialist, available for full-time work, to spearhead the creation and delivery of top-notch proposals. The Marketing Specialist must be able to prioritize, function effectively under multiple deadlines and time constraints, schedule workload and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves developing Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualification (RFQ) responses, which could include writing, producing resumes and project profiles, setting up meetings, developing graphics, proofreading, making edits, and printing/packaging to ensure submission by deadline, all within a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. We're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who excels in handling multiple tasks with competing deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a keen ability to dissect complex RFP/SOQs, craft compliant responses, coordinate seamlessly with proposal team members, and produce polished final documents ready for submission. Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate with operational leaders, project managers, and other technical staff to prepare or update proposals, statements of qualifications, brochures, resumes, project profiles, presentations, and other materials relating to business development.

  • Assemble proposal documents in various software formats to ensure all proposal criteria is included prior to submittal deadline.

  • Review and edit proposal writings to support "one-voice" methodology.

  • Create graphics for proposals, presentations, announcements, social media postings, ensuring corporate branding is maintained.

  • Assist with proposal team meetings, review sessions, and proposal interview preparation to develop strategic messaging.

  • Proofread, edit, and standardize proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension, and style.

  • Ensure compliance with RFP/SOQ requirements and internal high-quality content and appearance of final proposal deliverables.

  • Coordinate and support the production, reproduction, binding, and packaging in finalizing the proposal submission and response processes when required.

  • Track and update numerous pursuit efforts in company approved software systems.

  • Assist with maintaining internal SharePoint site, including preparing news articles and other updates.

  • Coordinates/support events such as trade shows, conferences, client events and in-house planned activities

  • Coordinate annual corporate company-wide programs (e.g., sustainability reports, award/contest submittals, etc).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in marketing / communications.

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines and follow up in a timely manner.

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Strong editing and proofreading abilities.

  • Ability to deliver high quality through attention to detail.

  • Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systems to meet business needs.

  • Effective, proactive and resourceful problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 products (especially Microsoft Word, Outlook and Teams).

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Cloud Software.

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.

  • A pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A/E/C industry experience a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet and/or Templafy, a plus.

  • Good understanding of graphic design techniques and principles.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is primarily sedentary and involves working at a computer workstation for the majority of the workday.

  • The role requires extended periods of sitting while performing tasks such as data entry, document preparation, communication, research, project coordination, and virtual meetings.

  • Occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting of light office materials may be required.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:

  • Based out of Lakewood, CO office (will also consider remote locations). Position has a potential of hybrid or remote work arrangement. This arrangement is subject to review and may change at the company's discretion.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday work scheduled (40 hours). Occasionally extended hours may be required based on project and/or client needs.

  • Work will be performed in an office setting.

Target salary range: $57,784 to $64,480. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
