GFS Chemicals is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our RAC Division at our Powell location. The Marketing Specialist supports the planning, development, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across channels, including email, social media, and web. The role conducts market, customer, and competitor research, analyzes trends and campaign performance and prepares reports and recommendations to inform marketing strategy and sales priorities.
This role tracks sales data and works with product management and marketing to achieve business goals. They oversee the marketing portfolio and brand guidelines across all platforms. This role is specifically responsible for both internal and external company graphic design.

Key Responsibilities
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree Marketing or a related field required.
3 - 4 years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations preferred.
Previous work in the chemical field a plus or sales experience a plus.
Core Skills:
Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write effective marketing copy for web, email, and promotional materials that align with brand standards and business objectives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and workload.
Strong knowledge of industry-standard design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with potential experience in Figma.
Has a solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, visual communication, and other design principles.
Attend tradeshows or events as needed.
