Thompson Hospitality is seeking a Marketing Specialist - Revenue Programs

Thompson Restaurants is seeking a highly organized and analytical person to oversee key revenue-driving programs, including gift cards, catering, private events, and promotional marketing initiatives. This role requires a unique combination of project management, graphic design expertise, data analysis, and operational execution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end gift card program, including promotion planning, sales tracking and reporting, inventory management, fulfillment and distribution, and performance analysis. In addition, this role will create marketing materials and campaign assets while serving as a project manager across multiple brands and departments.

This is a hands-on position for a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance creative and analytical responsibilities, and is comfortable owning both strategy execution and day-to-day program administration.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Gift Card Program Management

• Manage all aspects of Thompson Restaurants'' gift card program.
• Track gift card sales, redemptions, inventory, and campaign performance.
• Coordinate fulfillment and distribution of gift card orders, including direct mail and bulk orders.
• Develop seasonal gift card promotions and marketing plans.
• Generate reporting on sales performance and ROI.

Creative & Graphic Design

• Create marketing materials including flyers, email graphics, social assets, signage, promotional materials, and gift card collateral.
• Maintain brand standards across all creative executions.
• Support promotional campaigns for revenue-driving initiatives and one off projects as needed.
• Proficiency in Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Analytics & Reporting

• Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Track KPIs for gift cards, catering, private events, and promotional campaigns.
• Build reports and dashboards to communicate results and recommendations.
• Use data to support decision-making and campaigns

Ideal Candidate

• 1-2 years marketing experience
• Strong graphic design and creative capabilities.
• Experience managing revenue-driving programs or promotional campaigns.
• Analytical with advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable handling operational tasks such as fulfillment and inventory tracking.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
• Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit experience preferred but not required

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in multi-location restaurants, retail, or hospitality.
• Proficient with website CMS platforms (Squarespace a plus), email marketing tools (OLO is a plus), and third-party marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of digital KPIs and customer journeys.
• Proven ability to manage projects across departments and balance multiple brand voices.
• Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Prior experience managing teams.
• Experience managing restaurant delivery platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub) as well as customer data platforms.
• Knowledge of photoshop, adobe, and Canva.
• Basic design or HTML knowledge is a plus
