Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Location: Sacramento, CA ( Hybrid )
Duration: 52 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in marketing communications, technical writing, or content development
  • 2 years of experience writing or editing in a regulated environment such as healthcare, health plans, insurance, or similar
  • Ability to occasionally come onsite for in-person team collaboration, Sacramento area preferred
  • Experience with compliance-driven, member-facing, or stakeholder-facing communications
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, member-friendly communications
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple communication deliverables independently with minimal ramp-up

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience supporting health plan operations or payer communications
  • Familiarity with CMS, state regulatory guidelines, HPMS, or healthcare compliance frameworks
  • Experience partnering with legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and leadership teams
  • Project management or vendor management experience
  • Local to the Sacramento area or within reasonable commuting distance
  • Experience with Medicare member materials, enrollment communications, or regulated health plan marketing
