Akkodis is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a Contract with a client in Sacramento, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing compliance, member‑facing communications that support health plan operations and regulatory requirements.
Rate Range: $55/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Marketing Specialist Job Responsibilities include:
Draft, edit, and finalize health plan communications ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with compliance, legal, and operations teams to review and approve member-facing materials.
Manage multiple communication projects, timelines, and deliverables independently.
Translate complex regulatory language into clear, accessible communications for health plan members.
Provide marketing and communications expertise to support health plan operations and stakeholder needs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications, content development, or technical writing, with at least 2 years in a regulated healthcare environment.
Strong expertise in regulatory and compliance-driven, member-facing communications within health plans or insurance settings.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with compliance, legal, and operational stakeholders.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
