- Manage paid, social, email, content, SEO, and lifecycle marketing.
- Build and optimize automated customer/developer journeys.
- Use analytics and insights to improve engagement, conversion, and ROI.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Creative, and Marketing Ops teams.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Defining Role Scope:Outlined responsibilities focusing on performance marketing, paid media strategies, and managing a $10 million budget with close partnership alongside product marketing managers (PMMs) and media agencies.
- Targeting Developer Audience:Emphasized targeting B2B or SaaS backgrounds familiar with technical mobile and web developers (Android and Chrome ecosystems) to drive adoption of developer tools.
- Evaluating Key Expectations: Highlighted the need for 10+ years of experience (with recent paid media experience in the last 5 years), strong cross-functional stakeholder management, strategic campaign oversight rather than direct technical execution, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Team Structure & KPIs: Placed the role within the growth team alongside paid media, social, creative/content, and email/lifecycle streams, evaluating success on paid media expertise, collaboration, and business-impacting problem-solving.
