Position Summary
The Marketing Strategist partners with clients and internal teams to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with business objectives. This role is responsible for understanding each client's business, identifying opportunities for growth, and translating insights into actionable marketing recommendations. The Marketing Strategist serves as a trusted advisor on client accounts, collaborates across departments to bring strategies to life, and uses data, market trends, and performance insights to continuously optimize results. Responsibilities: - Support strategic client discussions, present campaign performance, provide recommendations, and align marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Support meetings with clients to discuss new projects and complete project briefs to capture details and ensure alignment.
- Collaborate with content writers to ensure messaging aligns with client goals and brand positioning.
- Review content such as social media posts, email campaigns and website content to ensure strategic alignment, message consistency, and overall quality.
- Identify conferences and speaking opportunities and create marketing strategies that support and promote those recommendations.
- Research market segments with the greatest growth potential and develop strategies to reach those target audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand when and why we utilize a particular tactic or approach and provide recommendations for overall campaign strategy based on target audience and business goals.
- Work with internal teams to help drive the development of new websites and optimize existing websites.
- Work closely with the digital team to understand paid/organic marketing options to recommend tactics to the client.
- Utilize AI tools to improve research, strategic planning, content development, and overall team efficiency while maintaining quality and strategic oversight.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, advertising, business, or communications.
- 2-4 years of experience in omni-channel marketing.
- Experience presenting recommendations to clients.
- Communications or marketing experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience in digital and email marketing, social media, and website content development. U/X experience a plus.

Working Conditions: - The majority of work is completed in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel to visit clients or conferences a possibility.
- Standard office hours for the business are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm EST.
- Office based employees are expected to work 4 days in office and may work from home one day a week after 3 months of employment.
- Remote based employees may have intermittent travel to the Augusta office location based on business need.
