Use your knowledge of the humanities higher education landscape and of the latest marketing technology to increase awareness about the MLA and engage our constituents. The marketing strategist, under the direction of the director of outreach, will promote MLA membership, services, resources, publications, and programming and track association campaigns and resource usage to expand the MLA's reach. You'll support our institutional offerings, including the Strategic Partnership Network, MLA Academic Programs Services, and the MLA Job List, and execute email and ad campaigns from inception to post-campaign analysis.

This is a hybrid position, requiring regular in-person attendance at the MLA offices in downtown New York City. Candidates must be able to work legally in the United States. Salary is commensurate with experience and expected to be in the range of $66,500–$72,000. The MLA provides generous vacation and sick time, flexible work hours, a 403(b) retirement plan, and individual health and dental plans with no shared premium cost.
