Marketing Technologist

We are working with a well-established, privately held data and software company in Irvine that is looking to add a Marketing Technologist to bridge their Marketing and Development teams on all public website initiatives. This is a brand-new role created specifically to give marketing a technical advocate who can translate business needs into development action without over-indexing on lockdown at the expense of marketing performance.

Desired Skills

• 3+ years of experience in marketing technology, technical SEO, digital marketing operations, or a comparable marketing/IT liaison capacity, with working SQL knowledge and enough C# fluency to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with developers
• Hands-on technical SEO experience including site audits, crawl and indexability issues, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup using tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Google Analytics
• Demonstrated experience bridging marketing or business stakeholders with a development or IT team, translating requirements in both directions and owning outcomes
• Experience coordinating projects in an Agile environment including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination using Azure DevOps or a comparable platform

This is a hybrid role (2 days a week)
