Marketing Technologist, Social Media

Position Overview

As a Marketing Technologist focused on Social Media, you'll help connect technology with evolving business and marketing needs. You'll design, implement, and support technology platforms, solve complex technical challenges, and identify opportunities to improve how our tools and systems perform.

This role is ideal for an experienced technologist who enjoys being hands-on while also partnering with stakeholders, evaluating new solutions, and translating business needs into effective technology solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and deploys technology platforms that support business needs. Identifies and implements opportunities to improve platform capabilities, performance, and effectiveness.
• Provides advanced technical support and helps ensure the reliable operation of production environments. Troubleshoots and resolves complex hardware and software issues across multiple platforms.
• Develops technical standards. Tests and evaluates technologies vendor products. Recommends vendor selections and new technologies.
• Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provides follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
• Learns and understands client area business functions and requirements. Determines the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.
• Trains and mentors more junior staff on processes and releases. Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues elevated from staff. Provides guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.
• Administers system activities. Writes the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Performs systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical and physical design.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting, configuring, or integrating enterprise technology platforms, including troubleshooting complex application and system issues.
• Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and web technologies, with the ability to diagnose issues across interconnected platforms.
