Merrill and the Private Bank serve high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients through a team of more than dedicated Advisors who ensure that we’re helping each individual investor plan for and achieve their unique financial goals. The Wealth CXO Marketing team, part of the Wealth CXO in MDS (Marketing, Digital and Customer and Specialized Consumer Client Solutions) at Bank of America, is responsible for driving brand awareness and favorability, accelerating deepening and growth, and delivering modernized planning and holistic advice.
The Wealth Marketing team is seeking a highly motivated individual to support Wealth products, investments, and planning marketing teams. As an industry leader in the investment and planning space, the team develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies to help advisors and clients achieve their goals, driving sales and marketing initiatives through integrated programs and communications.
Job Description:
This job is responsible for the delivery of a portion of the overall marketing strategy in the form of a portfolio of small to medium programs, capabilities or processes. Key responsibilities include owning or supporting marketing operations including performance, risks and controls, production audits/exams/maintenance, and content management. Job expectations include owning day to day relationships with key business partners, solving moderate to complex business problems and independently driving strategic marketing improvements and solutions.
The Sr. Marketing Program Manager supports a broad set of lines of business including the Chief Investment Office (CIO) at Merrill and the Private Bank—the investment engine of the firm—which delivers Market Viewpoints and insights, investment guidance, due diligence, manager research, and portfolio construction and management services. Additional businesses supported include investments, insurance, annuities, retirement, banking, lending, trust, philanthropy and ultra-high-net-worth solutions, including partnerships across line of business and other enterprise teams. This is a fast-paced, client- and regulatory-driven environment with multiple deadlines and concurrent deliverables.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:
Update marketing materials across channels
Support end-to-end project management of marketing initiatives, including collateral development and web updates
Manage full GM1 workflow including intake, routing, approvals, and coordinate compliance, legal, risk, brand, and MAP reviews
Maintain adherence to GM1 governance and controls
Provide timely execution support for CIO-related content
Support large-scale disclosure updates across Merrill collateral
Ensure accurate language & disclosures
Track approval timelines and escalate risks
Maintain Resource Central intranet content (internal platform)
Maintain project plans, timelines, and tracking
Manage submission pipelines, inventory, and renewal cycles
Provide status updates including risks and dependencies
Support ad hoc marketing requests
Build relationships across Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Brand and CIO
Provide backup coverage and continuity support
Assist in review of complex deliverables
Required Qualifications:
Strong project management and organizational skills

Experience with governance workflows (GM1, MAP) preferred

3-5 years marketing program management experience

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$100,000.00 - $167,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
