What You Will Do

• Apply quantitative methods to analyze and improve marketplace dynamics, including balancing supply and demand and optimizing pricing signals.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and analytical workflows using Python and R to enhance marketplace intelligence.
• Design and interpret experiments, such as A/B tests and causal inference studies, to assess the impact of product changes on performance.
• Develop metrics and dashboards that track marketplace health, providing actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
• Utilize tools like Airtable and Zapier to automate data collection and operational workflows.
• Translate complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate quantitative models and insights into platform features.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–8 years of experience in a quantitative or data science role, preferably in a marketplace or platform environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation.
• Solid understanding of marketplace economics, including liquidity and incentive structures.
• Experience designing and analyzing experiments with rigorous statistical methodologies.
• Comfortable using tools like Airtable and Zapier to operationalize data workflows.

Preferred

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Mode, or Tableau.
• Experience in marketplace analytics, incentive design, or data-driven operations.
• Proven ability to communicate quantitative insights clearly to diverse audiences.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill set. This is an opportunity to join a growing, impact-driven organization with a competitive total compensation package.
