Martial Arts Instructor & Front Desk

Transform Martial Arts is expanding and opening our third location in North Port! We have proudly served Southwest Florida for 25 years. Located just minutes from beautiful Gulf beaches, our brand-new facility is growing fast and looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. While this role begins as part-time, rapid growth means clear opportunities for future full-time advancement.

Position Overview

• Type: Part-time (with full-time growth potential)
• Schedule: 6 days a week | Mon–Fri 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Sat 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Pay: Competitive, based on your rank and experience
• Students: Ages 4 and up

Key Responsibilities

• Mat Assistance: Aid the Chief Instructor during classes. Because this is a brand-new school, you will primarily work with a high volume of enthusiastic white belts, so you can learn a new style while teaching.
• Front Desk Operations: Greet families, answer questions, manage student check-ins, and maintain a welcoming lobby environment.

Job Requirements

• Martial Arts Background: Open to all styles! We will happily train you in our specific system if you come from a different background.
• Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background screening.
• Transportation: Must possess a valid driver's license and have highly reliable transportation.
• Adhere to a schedule and manage time appropriately. Must always be punctual.
• Follow all procedures in the employee manual.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; tactful and good with people.
• Current driver's license and excellent driving record (driving history report required).
• High school or equivalent required; education beyond high school is preferred, e.g. trade school, college, and other educational/training programs.
• Prior verifiable work experience demonstrating tasks requiring attention to detail and customer service.
• Fluent in English required.
