SALARY: As per negotiated Agreement (See Attached Salary Guide & Benefits Information)

DESCRIPTION: The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks across all trades to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for students and staff in a Pre-K through 12th-grade district. This role requires a "jack-of-all-trades" approach, with specific technical expertise in locksmithing and masonry.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in general maintenance, preferably in a school or commercial setting
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid NJ Driver's License (required for traveling between district buildings)
• Experience in masonry work and locksmithing (including keying/re-keying)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair issues across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry disciplines
• Criminal history background check by the Department of Education
• Certificate of good health by school doctor, including State required Mantoux Test
• Proof of citizenship or registration
