Mason

We are seeking a skilled mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing and repairing brick, stone, and concrete structures, as well as knowledge of various masonry techniques and materials.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• 
  
• Lay brick, stone, and concrete blocks to construct and repair walls, arches, chimneys, and other structures
• 
  
• Cut and shape bricks, stones, and concrete blocks to fit specific spaces
• 
  
• Mix mortar and grout to the desired consistency
• 
  
• Apply sealants and other protective coatings to masonry surfaces
• 
  
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
•

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 
  
• 3+ years of experience in masonry construction and repair

• Knowledge of various masonry techniques and materials

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• 
  
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
