Help keep a high-production concrete block facility running safely and smoothly. In this role, you’ll be the go-to teammate who keeps work areas clean, materials moving, and the line supported—from the first hour of the morning shift to wrap-up on Saturdays.

Role details

• Location: Fishkill, NY
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $20 per hour
• Employment Type: Temporary (potential temp-to-hire)

How you’ll contribute

• Maintain plant cleanliness by removing raw materials and performing routine housekeeping
• Lift, carry, and stack concrete blocks weighing up to 50 pounds
• Support production with material handling and on-the-spot assistance where needed
• Operate a forklift when called upon (experience preferred; authorization required)
• Assist with straightforward maintenance and mechanical tasks under supervision
• Follow safety procedures rigorously and use PPE at all times
• Keep your station organized and hazard-free

What success looks like

• Consistent, safe performance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Comfort working amid heat, cold, dust, fumes, and loud noise
• Stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive gripping and grasping tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Readiness to become forklift-authorized; prior experience is a plus
• Mechanical curiosity and willingness to assist with basic maintenance
• Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude—especially for early mornings and Saturdays
• Compliance with dress code: steel-toe boots, jeans, and a solid-color shirt
