Description
Job Purpose:
The Masonry Project Engineer at BLAKLEY CORP is responsible for managing and overseeing the technical and administrative aspects of masonry projects. This role involves ensuring that all project-related documentation is accurately prepared and maintained, facilitating smooth project execution in alignment with company standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and management of all necessary paperwork for masonry projects, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and verify necessary documentation for project requirements.
Support the project team in tracking project progress and maintaining accurate records of project milestones and deliverables.
Ensure all project documentation is filed appropriately and is easily accessible for future reference.
Provide administrative support to the project team, facilitating effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in construction management to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree, preferably in Construction Management or a related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on masonry projects.
Experience in preparing and managing project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Proven track record of successfully supporting masonry projects from inception to completion.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of masonry construction techniques and materials.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in documentation and project specifications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
