ABOUT THE TEAM
The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the full development lifecycle, from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will contribute to the development of mass properties (weight, center of gravity (CG), & inertia) data for new air vehicle development.
• Develop, track, and maintain mass properties data throughout air vehicle design phases • Participate in defining mass properties related design requirements • Provide vehicle and subsystem configuration trade study guidance • Support vehicle and subsystem level weight and balance control efforts • Estimate, calculate, measure, and verify weight, balance, and inertia of components, assemblies, and completed vehicles or systems • Participate in developing and maintaining mass properties accounting systems • Generate mass properties reports

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSB.S. or M.E, or equivalent experience
5+ years' experience in aerospace or related industry
Excellent communication and team skills
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
