    Description

    Description:You will be the Mass Properties Engineering Asc Manager for the IFG (integrated Flight Group) Mass Properties Team which is responsible for supporting IFG aircraft development, test, production, and sustainment.

    What You Will Be Doing

    As the Mass Properties Engineering Asc Manager you will be responsible for providing full OBS management for Mass Properties operations at the Fort Worth Site, coordinating Earned Value Management data, and acting as the principal focal point between the Program Management Team and engineering personnel.

    'Your responsibilities will include:'

    Coordinate Earned Value Management and EVMS data for mass‑properties operations.

    Develop and maintain integrated schedules and detailed execution plans for the IFG Mass Properties team.

    Manage staffing requirements, skill‑set identification, and resource allocation across the Fort Worth site.

    Verify engineering, technical, and support data, including work instructions and compliance with JPO and ITAR exportability requirements.

    Author and oversee Mass Properties Management Plans, MPCMP, and related reporting artifacts (DD‑250, weight status reports).

    Further Information About This Opportunity

    MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technically related discipline.
    • Technical Team Leadership (e.g. day-to-day task management & supervision)
    • Qualified LMAero Control Account Manager (CAM) or ability to achieve training requirements & PPM-101 exam
    • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position requires a Final Secret Clearance to start.

    Desired Skills:

    • Working knowledge of aircraft development & production, flight test, military aircraft sustainment, technical orders, military flight operations, and maintenance concepts.
    • Experience working with Aircraft Configuration Control Management Systems such as PDM, CAD Datanet, TeamCenter, or AeroSource
    • Specific knowledge of Mass Properties Data Management Systems
    • Specific knowledge of the Earned Value Management Systems and associated business rhythm
    • Knowledge of installed aircraft systems/subsystems and support equipment.
    • Quality Control and/or problem analysis at the production module level.
    • Familiarity with Corrective Action Request (CAR) process
    • Good knowledge of the industry standards in the mass properties engineering (SAWE RP-7, RP-8, 1-1B-50, etc)
    • Working knowledge of Tableau, BLCR, APTS, ADARS, VEMO RM, IMS, and PM Compass

    The ability to interface with all levels of project management is desired. Above average oral and written communication skills are required. Exceptional planning and coordinating skills are also required.

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The option to telecommute is subject to manager approval on a case-by-case basis.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
