A Brief Overview

As Massage Therapist, you will be a part of a cohesive, integrated team working to understand and improve an individual's health and well- being. You will specialize in determining and performing the appropriate massage for patients and clients. You will assist in the outreach into the community through schools, community programs, small businesses, corporations, and public sector services and staff.

What you will do

• Excellent interpersonal communication – ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations
• Highly energetic, outgoing, friendly, self-starter, takes initiative, can multi-task well, with attention to detail, and effective time management. 
• Knowledge of emerging best practices within the massage, health, and wellness industry.
• Proficient in deep tissue, Swedish, sport massage, reflexology, etc. 
• Ability to evaluate client/patient soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion. 
• Determine appropriate massage to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, wellness, and maintenance.  
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients. 
• Assist and integrate with HNH Fitness Manager, Personal Trainers, and Physical Therapists in the development of continuing education for all staff of the facility. 
• Ability to integrate with the Human Performance team: Physician, Rehab, Nutrition, Psychology, Sleep, etc. 

Education Qualifications

 

• High School Diploma
• Completion of accredited Massage Therapy program
• Required 

 Experience Qualifications

• 1-3 years Two to three years preferred experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) through the state of New Jersey

In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Pay Range: $15.49/hour - $31.78/hour
