About the Role:
Phil's Service is seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Killeen, TX. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and maintaining high production standards in a professional shop environment.


As a Master Technician, you will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues including drivability, electrical, suspension, brake, AC, and engine performance concerns. You will work alongside a team focused on accountability, efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.


We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with service advisors, complete thorough digital inspections, and help maintain a strong shop culture built around professionalism and teamwork.


We are looking for an experienced Master Automotive Technician who can accurately diagnose, repair, and inspect vehicles while maintaining high production and quality standards.





Responsibilities:


  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic and Asian vehicles 
  • Diagnose drivability, electrical, suspension, brake, AC, and engine performance concerns 
  • Complete digital vehicle inspections with clear documentation and recommendations 
  • Perform maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately 
  • Maintain strong billed-hour productivity while minimizing comebacks 
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs 
  • Follow shop workflow, inspection procedures, and quality control standards 
  • Assist with mentoring and supporting junior technicians when needed 
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safety compliant 
  • Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures 

Requirements:
  • 5+ years professional automotive repair experience 
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability 
  • Ability to produce consistent billed hours in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience with scan tools and modern diagnostic equipment 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Own tools required 
  • ASE certifications preferred 
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment
