Master Mechanic - Motor Coach Preferred All Levels Considered
Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA Shift: 9:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Pay Rate: $23.36 to $38.27 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
Martz Bus is seeking an experienced Full-Time Master Mechanic to support our motor coach maintenance operation. Master-level experience is preferred but we will consider qualified A-level and advancing technicians with strong diagnostic skills.
What You Will Do
• Diagnose and repair diesel motor coaches • Perform advanced diagnostics on engines, transmissions, electronics, air systems, and HVAC • Troubleshoot using manufacturer-recommended procedures • Perform preventive maintenance and major/minor repairs • Use and maintain diagnostic tools and shop equipment • Assist and mentor other technicians as needed
What We Are Looking For
• 5 years of heavy-duty or motor coach mechanic experience preferred • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills • High school diploma or equivalent
What You Will Need
• State Inspection Certification • EPA 608/609 HVAC Certification • CDL with Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain • Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in shop and outdoor environments • Strong attention to detail and safety-focused work habits
