Master Electrician - Underground Utility Construction

Join a Leading Electric Infrastructure Contractor

We're partnering with a leading electric infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Master Electrician to support underground electrical utility and infrastructure projects. This is a field-based role focused on installing, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning underground electrical systems while working alongside construction crews to deliver high-quality utility projects safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot underground electrical distribution systems.
• Perform conduit, duct bank, vault, transformer, and switchgear installations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and utility standards.
• Test, commission, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Coordinate with field crews and project managers to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in underground electrical utility or infrastructure construction.
• Experience with conduit systems, duct banks, transformers, switchgear, and underground distribution.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Current Master Electrician license or equivalent relevant electrical utility construction experience.
