Position Role: The OOS Fabricator is responsible for fabricating more difficult and intricate projects within the specified time allotted. The OOS Fabricator must build to shop tolerances from detailed work orders and drawings, quality check their own work, and keep the work area clean and safe.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRead and understand detailed work orders and drawings, including all notes.Create cut lists for items being built.Thermoform material, operating ovens and vacuum presses.Lay out angles and radiuses.Maintain working knowledge of all power tools and their safe operation.Build trim jigs and molds.Build items within shop tolerances.Quality check own work, verifying color, cutout location, and top size against the work order before proceeding.Palletize completed work and group finished Label IDs so Project Managers and Project Planners can locate completed items.Keep work area clean and safe.Wear required PPE at all times.Lift at least 50 pounds independently.Stand for extended periods in a shop environment with noise and dust.Other duties as assigned.
