About this role: As a Master Field Engineer at Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, you are the primary technical owner for turnkey project delivery. You will navigate complex system architectures, mentor field teams, and provide high‑level technical guidance across projects.Key Responsibilities End‑to‑End Ownership: Own full execution of professional building automation installations—from field mobilization through final commissioning—under all operational conditions.Mission‑Critical Delivery: Install and deliver complex, high‑risk, business‑critical systems as the final technical authority.Team Accountability: Own quality outcomes for the entire field team, setting execution standards and holding members accountable for workmanship, documentation, and customer commitments.Capability Building: Mentor and coach field leaders, elevating performance across all experience levels.Branch Risk Management: Partner with supervisors, project managers, and sales to assess and mitigate technical, schedule, and contractual risks.Mastery & Growth: Demonstrate mastery of ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines, ensuring safe, high‑performance delivery.Travel & Flexibility: Travel as needed to support dynamic field demands and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.At least 6 years of hands‑on experience in building automation or HVAC controls.Valid, current driver's license and insurable by company insurance carrier.Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient with ladders and motorized lift equipment.Preferred Qualifications Degree or technical certificate in HVAC, controls, or a related field.Experience acting as a technical authority and mentor to junior or mid‑level engineers while driving continuous process improvements and high‑performance standards.Lead full turnkey delivery, commissioning, and advanced troubleshooting of advanced DDC and integrated building automation platforms.Expert‑level proficiency in secure TCP/IP networking and integration of diverse building technologies.Serve as the primary senior contact for escalated issues and high‑stakes technical discussions, providing tailored solutions and advanced end‑user training.Oversee turnkey delivery of projects with full accountability for quality and performance.Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 and $158,000.00, with factors such as skills, education, and experience influencing the final offer.This position does not support immigration sponsorship.Additional Compensation The position may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.Benefits Health Care: Medical, dental, vision, and wellness incentives.Retirement: Eligibility for a company‑sponsored retirement plan.Time off and leave: Paid vacation up to 15 days, sick up to 5 days, personal up to 5 days, holidays up to 13 days, birth and adoption leave, parental leave, family and medical leave, bereavement leave, jury duty leave, military leave, and purchased vacation.Disability: Short‑term and long‑term disability coverage.Life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment.Tax‑advantaged accounts: Health Savings Account, Health Care Spending Account, and Dependent Care Spending Account.Tuition assistance.Carrier EEO Statement and Accommodations Process Carrier is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
