VanDevere is a family owned dealership with a great reputation. We are a very busy shop with state of the art facilities in need of a LEAD technician with a focus on customer satisfaction and long relationships.
Responsible to train and grow other technicians hand in hand with Management to insure service goals are met.

LEAD Technician–Job Description: The Lead Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Experienced Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanics Responsibilities:
- Able to diagnose and repair GM automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc
- Electrical Vehicle(EV) experience a PLUS
- Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correct, to pass quality inspections set forth by dealership and GM's quality standards
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
Experienced Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanics Qualifications:
- Master Certified or 2+ years automotive technician / mechanic experience
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
- Strong Automotive knowledge
- Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools in good working order
- Valid Driver’s License
