What you'll do

Direct and coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) to support automotive production schedules. Manage production priorities based on customer demand, material availability, and business needs. Oversee inventory, safety stock, reorder points, and buffer stock to balance cost and production requirements. Coordinate supplier communications, transportation, and issue resolution. Authorize inventory adjustments and implement inventory reduction strategies. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve shortages or disruptions. Monitor supplier performance and recovery claims, lead cycle counts and 8D analysis, track KPIs, maintain PC&L master data, oversee engineering changes and stock accuracy, and validate packaging and returnable packaging processes for mass production.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, related field, or foreign equivalent.
  • Plus 3 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or logistics in the automotive industry.
  • Experience must include material planning and transportation (sea and ground freight), SAP ERP systems, launching new interior automotive component projects, and supplier mediation or negotiation.
