Primary Purpose
Serve as the highest-level technical expert within the fleet maintenance program. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Texas commercial driver's license (Class B) or ability to obtain within six months of hire
Pass an Annual Department of Transportation Physical (DOT)
Good driving record
TASBT Master Certifications or be willing to obtain within 18 months of hire (Subject to TASBT updates)
ASE or MACS A/C recovery and recycling license or ability to obtain within one year of hire
TXDPS Licensed State Vehicle Safety Inspector or obtain within six months of hire
TXRRC Alternative Fuel Certifications (CNG and/or Propane) required within one year of hire.
Special Knowledge/Skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability
Ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions Must be cooperative and show initiative towards improving skills
Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
Ability to train and certify others in areas of electrical, diagnostics and repairs
Basic computer skills needed for data entry into maintenance systems
Experience
Demonstrated experience in advanced diagnostics and mentoring technicians required.
