About the Role

The Master Order Installation Specialist supports the installation, breakdown, delivery, and pickup of event rental equipment at various customer and event locations. This physically demanding role ensures the accurate setup and teardown of event inventory such as tables, chairs, lighting, staging, sound equipment, china, glassware, linens, and other items. The position requires strong physical endurance, teamwork, safety focus, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently for deliveries and pickups
• Install, break down, pick up, and store event rental equipment at multiple locations
• Handle equipment including tables, chairs, lighting, staging, sound, china, glassware, linens, and event inventory
• Verify equipment being loaded for installations and pickups for accuracy
• Maintain accurate inventory records from warehouse to job sites and back
• Properly secure equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Report missing, damaged, or incorrect equipment to the Driver/Installer
• Follow instructions from Dispatch and assigned Driver/Installer to complete tasks safely and on schedule
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure timely, safe completion of assignments
• Demonstrate a professional, customer-service-oriented attitude during interactions with clients and colleagues
• Follow company safety procedures and workplace safety requirements
• Identify and report safety hazards at job sites
• Support other departments as needed to meet business demands
• Perform physical work throughout shifts including lifting over 50 lbs., walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional stair climbing and overhead lifting

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in construction, equipment or furniture moving, event setup, or similar physical work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable attendance and safety consciousness
• Comfortable performing physical tasks including lifting over 50 lbs., walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Tent installation or erection experience
• Experience handling event equipment such as tables, chairs, lighting, staging, sound equipment, china, glassware, linens, and other inventory

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts
• Frequent lifting and carrying of event equipment over 50 lbs.
• Physical pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and overhead lifting
• Occasional stair climbing
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, physical environments with repetitive movements
