Job Title: Master Painter

Pay Rate: W2 only
Position Type: Contract

Minimum 10 years of professional, commercial and institutional painting experience required. Candidates must be able to pass both a criminal and credit background check.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, primers, stains, and finishes.
• Experience with drywall repair, patching, caulking, and wall preparation.
• Ability to operate lifts, scaffolding, and other painting equipment safely.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work orders.

• Experience supervising or mentoring other painters.
• Experience with specialty coatings, epoxy systems, and decorative finishes.
• Strong knowledge of color matching and finish application techniques.
• Ability to estimate materials, labor, and project durations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Perform advanced interior and exterior painting.
• Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train and guide junior painters.
• Coordinate material requirements and project schedules.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations.
