The MH Group is recruiting compassionate and dedicated Master's-Level Clinicians (Licensed or License-Eligible) on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative behavioral health team providing evidence-based treatment and recovery services to individuals experiencing substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and other complex behavioral health needs.

As a clinician, you will provide outcome-driven psychotherapy, comprehensive behavioral health assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination while working closely with physicians, nurses, care navigators, and community partners. Our client is committed to delivering person-centered, trauma-informed care that empowers individuals on their path to recovery and long-term wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, intake evaluations, and clinical formulations.
• Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Complete risk assessments, crisis evaluations, and implement appropriate safety interventions.
• Collaborate with medical providers, nursing staff, care navigators, and community partners to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Engage family members, caregivers, and external providers in treatment planning when appropriate and authorized.
• Connect individuals with community resources and supportive services that promote recovery and long-term stability.
• Maintain an active caseload while delivering high-quality, person-centered clinical care.
• Complete all clinical documentation, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, referrals, and required outcome measures accurately and within established timelines.
• Participate in clinical supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.
• Adapt to the clinical needs of the program, including providing services across multiple locations or via telehealth when needed.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Massachusetts licensure or eligibility for licensure (LMHC, LICSW, LADC I, or other applicable clinical license).
• Demonstrated progress toward obtaining the highest level of clinical licensure, if license eligible.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, and/or substance use treatment preferred.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
• Strong assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and clinical documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while demonstrating cultural humility and trauma-informed care principles.
• Knowledge of community resources and the ability to coordinate referrals and supportive services.
