Master Scheduler and Kanban - Remote

Position Summary

This position supports a client program by structuring a Master Schedule of projects and programs and implementing a Kanban Board utilizing Project Planner Cards. The role involves supporting project managers and the Common Services Delivery branch, assisting in the preparation of status reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership, maintaining documentation and compliance with organizational standards, coordinating meetings, documenting action items, following up on outstanding tasks, and managing client onboarding and suitability for the program.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer the Master Project/Program Schedule.
• Prepare for and run daily Kanban meetings utilizing Project Planner cards.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust determination.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering) and 12 years of IT experience, including 7-10 years leading and managing IT projects focused on infrastructure, operations, and service delivery.
• Demonstrated experience defining, creating, and managing project/program master schedules.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams in daily Kanban meetings utilizing Project Planner Boards.
• PMP certification (or equivalent) required.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• IT project lifecycle management, including scope, schedule, milestones, resource planning, and delivery management.
• Leadership and coordination of cross-functional technical teams and stakeholder communications.
• Risk, issue, dependency, and change management with clear, decision-oriented reporting.
• Compliance-focused project execution aligned to organizational standards and governance controls.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEC or other federal civilian agency IT programs.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Experience implementing service delivery improvement efforts in complex IT environments.
• Familiarity with governance-driven reporting and oversight models in federal IT contracts.
• Experience collaborating across technical and program teams to drive delivery outcomes.
• PMI-ACP (Agile delivery in technical project environments).
• PMI-RMP (risk management in project environments).
• SAFe Agilist (scaled planning and governance reporting across teams).

Work Environment

This is a remote/telework position. Operational support may require participation in on-call or surge support activities for critical incidents, major releases, or operational events, dependent on operational needs or other needs consistent with contractual SLAs.
