Help Drive Manufacturing Excellence

Milwaukee Electronics is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production scheduling and planning for our high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing operation. In this role, you'll transform customer demand into executable production plans, balancing capacity, materials, and delivery commitments while partnering with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Engineering.

If you enjoy solving complex scheduling challenges, using data to drive decisions, and making a direct impact on customer success, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.

  • Execute and manage MRP planning to generate production work orders and purchasing requirements.

  • Analyze production capacity and recommend schedule adjustments to maximize throughput and on-time delivery.

  • Partner with Purchasing to proactively manage material availability and resolve shortages.

  • Communicate production schedules, priorities, and delivery commitments across Operations and Customer Service.

  • Monitor schedule attainment, production performance, and on-time delivery metrics.

  • Maintain ERP planning parameters, including lead times, run rates, and capacity data.

  • Coordinate production schedules for new product introductions (NPI).

  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities through scheduling analysis and reporting.

  • Identify scheduling risks, develop contingency plans, and drive corrective actions when production goals are missed.

  • Monitor work-in-process (WIP) levels and support inventory optimization initiatives.

  • Continuously improve scheduling processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production scheduling or master scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong experience using ERP/MRP systems (Epicor experience is a plus).

  • Solid understanding of:
    • Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
    • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    • Capacity planning
    • Manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

  • APICS CPIM certification.

  • Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or electronics manufacturing.

Success in This Role

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly analytical and data-driven.

  • Organized with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Able to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • A collaborative partner who communicates effectively across departments.

  • Comfortable making recommendations and influencing decisions without direct authority.
