Success in this role will be measured through improvements in on-time delivery, lead time reduction, schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and overall operational performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, maintain, and manage the master production schedule for all manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with customer commitments and operational priorities.
    • Maintain capacity management and production monitoring systems to maximize on-time delivery performance and minimize operational costs.
    • Research, evaluate, and implement scheduling technologies and planning tools that improve scheduling accuracy, visibility, and forecasting capabilities.
    • Analyze manufacturing complexity and production requirements to appropriately allocate labor, materials, equipment, and facility capacity.
    • Lead scheduling and capacity planning activities for all production operations across ASC sites.
    • Monitor production progress against scheduled milestones and collaborate with leadership teams to resolve delays and maintain committed ship dates.
    • Develop, track, and report key scheduling, capacity, and production metrics to support operational visibility and decision-making.
    • Identify and implement initiatives that reduce lead times, improve throughput, and support cost reduction objectives.
    • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to proactively identify, resolve, and document scheduling and production-related issues.
    • Maintain and continuously update the Production Schedule in collaboration with the Manufacturing Support Administrator and operational leadership.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership, including the CEO, COO, and Director of Operations, to establish production priorities and customer commitment levels.
    • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and lead-time reduction.
    • Coordinate and communicate schedule changes throughout the organization while minimizing operational disruption.
    • Serve as the primary scheduling liaison to Supply Chain, ensuring timely communication of production schedule changes, constraints, and material requirements.
    • Develop annual capacity forecasts to support strategic planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.
    • Lead capacity planning reviews by presenting short-term and long-term demand forecasts, identifying capacity constraints, and recommending solutions.
    • Optimize manufacturing flow and resource utilization through effective production scheduling techniques and planning methodologies.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scheduling accuracy, production efficiency, and organizational responsiveness.
    • Ensure all scheduling activities support ASC's commitments to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

    • Experience with production planning, capacity planning, and master scheduling within a manufacturing operation.
    • Strong understanding of low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments and production processes.
    • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
    • Lean Manufacturing experience and understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze production capacity, labor utilization, and manufacturing constraints.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
