    Description

    Role Overview

Our client is seeking a proactive, technically knowledgeable, and relationship-driven Sales Representative to expand its presence in the masterbatch and additives market across four U.S. territories: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest (Texas-based). This is a high-impact, fully remote role with frequent in-territory travel required. The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B sales professional with a strong background in selling masterbatch and additives to customers in the plastics processing space, including converters and processors. They must be comfortable navigating technical sales cycles with plant production teams, R&D labs, and quality departments.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting plastics manufacturers and processors as customers for masterbatch and additive solutions.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing, engineering, and production leadership at key accounts including converters and plastics processors.

    • Collaborate with global and U.S.-based internal teams to coordinate technical support, product sampling, and field trials.

    • Maintain pipeline visibility, activity reporting, and account data using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

    • Travel frequently for in-person client meetings, plant visits, and industry events throughout your assigned territory.

    Key Skills

    • Strong technical sales experience in masterbatch and additives, with the ability to sell into plastics processing and converting customers

    • Proven ability to build trust and drive business with converters and processors at the plant and procurement level

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills across long and complex B2B sales cycles

    Educational & Additional Requirements

    • 2 to 3+ years of B2B sales experience in masterbatch, colorants, additives, or related plastics chemistry

    • Experience calling on converters, processors, or similar customers in the plastics space

    • Familiarity with customers such as Sigma Plastics or T-Film is a strong plus

    • Comfortable with long technical sales cycles ranging from two months to two years

    • Experience engaging with plant production teams, R&D labs, and quality departments

    • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce preferred

    • Organized, self-motivated, and accountable with a strong drive for performance

    • Must be located within one of the four territories (NE, SE, Midwest, or SW/Texas) and willing to travel daily or near-daily
