Mat Handler/Cycle Count Clerk Description Position Title: MATERIALS HANDLER/ CYCLE COUNT CLERK FLSA Status: NON-EXEMPT EXEMPT Grade: 6 Job Code: L6010I Division: P&M UNIT TOP UNIT Department: 88 Date: 06/22/2018 JOB SCOPE: Unload materials by hand or utilizing handling equipment. Report mishandling conditions causing material defects. Verify quantities. Check actual quantity (hand count) against receiving slip, production ticket, credit or move ticket. Make written reports on cause of delays, location of shortage item. Move materials throughout departments as required. Responsible for flow of material to the correct process utilizing routings or move tickets. Expedite parts and materials by hand or with handling equipment according to production tickets, tallies and work orders. Responsible for maintaining the condition of stock, layout of stockroom, rotation of material. Pick, organize and verify parts for engine build and spare parts orders. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification. Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner. Perform assigned work to specified quality and production standards. Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition. Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual's immediate work area in a clean condition. Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification.
