Job Title: Material Area Supervisor


Job Description


The Material Area Supervisor leads hourly teams responsible for unloading, storing, and delivering materials to support production in an automotive manufacturing assembly plant. This role is pivotal in managing and transforming material delivery processes to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs, utilizing the World Class Manufacturing process.


Responsibilities


+ Lead the safety, delivery, cost, quality, and morale of hourly work teams.

+ Develop team leaders to meet corporate guidelines and transform existing material delivery processes.

+ Ensure inventory and record integrity while maintaining positive relationships with management and union-represented employees.

+ Manage multiple work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume unionized manufacturing environment.

+ Coordinate daily team activities to achieve business metrics and implement World Class Manufacturing tools and processes related to material flow.

+ Oversee and develop highly functioning work teams, comprising Team Leaders and Team Members.

Pay and Benefits


The pay range for this position is $30.44 - $30.44/hr.
