Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or International Business with a German concentration or related discipline 4 years equivalent professional experience in Material Planning, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP)Required Qualifications: 2 years of related professional experience in Material Planning, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP) 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management 1-3 years of experience in Material Control and Production Control ManagementTraining: As applicable, per the clients' training guidelines.Required Technical Skills: Intermediate = 1-3 years of communication/interpersonal skills Intermediate = 1-3 years of computer skills (Microsoft Office) with emphasis on Excel, Word and SAP Basic = German or Spanish (a plus)Responsibilities: Efficiently ensures availability of the required quantity of exact parts at the needed time to support Plant Spartanburg production program and TS-M (Material Planning) targets as they align to Plant Spartanburg goals Controls supplies and stock by timely planning the correct quantity of parts, while at the same time optimizing the stock on hand Performs basic data processing and parameter administration in the Material Planning system Supports on-going series production, parts run-in and run out, and processing of technical changes within this scope, with the minimization of obsolescence costs Maintains and analyzes monthly Supplier rating and yearly SUMIS (Supplier Management Information System) rating information as applicable Participates in TS-M projects or projects led outside TS-M Acts as a contact to all suppliers and carriers, logistics associations, and institutions Performs other duties as assigned by the Clients operations supervisor **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
