Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to support warehouse and inventory operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining organization, ensuring accurate material handling, and supporting production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, organized work area, including compacting boxes
• Package goods according to carrier specifications and quality standards
• Pull materials for kits, shortages, work orders, and shipments following FIFO guidelines
• Put away stock from receiving (airfreight, sea freight, transfers, and shop returns)
• Update system with accurate inventory locations for returned materials
• Create repair work orders for discrepant items
• Process material transactions using ERP systems or handheld devices
• Assist with daily cycle counts
• Maintain warehouse equipment (printers, tape dispensers, forklifts, compactor)
• Verify work accuracy to minimize errors
• Communicate effectively and seek clarification when needed
• Interface with internal teams and external partners
• Maintain necessary documentation and files

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• PC proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, and database systems
• Experience with SAP (preferred)
• Electronics manufacturing experience (a plus)
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
