Summary
Our client is seeking a Material Coordinator II to support production departments by ensuring material is procured, expedited, and delivered on time within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced production settings and excels at problem-solving, cross-functional coordination, and inventory accuracy. The Material Coordinator will play a critical role in minimizing production disruptions by identifying material gaps, resolving shortages, and supporting inventory integrity across production lines.

This is a strong opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to supply management operations, production support, and material flow processes within a large-scale, enterprise manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Material Coordination & Production Support
  • Coordinate procurement, expediting, and delivery of materials to support production departments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve material availability gaps
  • Support production operators by identifying and resolving material shortages
  • Work critical shortage reports to ensure part availability and uninterrupted production
Inventory Management & Accuracy
  • Audit materials to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and errors
  • Expedite parts as needed to prevent production delays
Change & Deviation Management
  • Implement outputs from engineering release and change management processes
  • Support deviation management and required material adjustments

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • OR 2–3 years of equivalent related work experience in supply management or manufacturing environments

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in Supply Management or Manufacturing environments
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
