The contract employee would be responsible for verifying shipper confirmations in both POPS (Purchase Orders) and Client (Manifest Shipment System / Shipment Confirmation) various entry level transactions within AMAPS, and inventory cycle counting and verification.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct physical inventory counts, and perform data entry in ERP systems to ensure high inventory accuracy.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors and purchasing teams to expedite deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure materials arrive on schedule.
Material Planning: Generate material requirement planning (MRP) reports to forecast raw material needs based on production demands.
Receiving and Warehousing: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming goods.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: A high school diploma
Experience: 2 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or procurement, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Background in administrative tasks or inventory
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, and communication skills to resolve supply chain bottlenecks quickly.
