About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Coordinators for a manufacturing company in Faribault, Minnesota. In this role, you'll help ensure materials are accurately picked, kitted, staged, and delivered to support production schedules and keep operations running efficiently. What You'll Do as a Material Coordinator:- Coordinate daily picking, kitting, and staging activities based on production schedules
- Ensure materials are pulled accurately and available in designated staging areas when needed
- Serve as the primary Materials contact for production-floor material requests and shortages
- Track and resolve inventory discrepancies, picking issues, and material-flow concerns
- Provide daily work direction and support to Material Handlers and kitting team members
- Complete and verify inventory transactions within Epicor ERP and maintain inventory accuracy
- Support 5S initiatives, safe material handling practices, and continuous improvement efforts
What You Need to Bring to the Material Coordinator Role:- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, materials management, inventory control, manufacturing support, or a related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow issues through resolution in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Knowledge of production schedules, work orders, material staging, and inventory transactions preferred
- Epicor ERP experience preferred but not required
