Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the flow of materials across multiple departments, including shipping and receiving operations.
• Ensure production teams have the required materials and parts to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, inventory accuracy, and material availability.
• Coordinate procurement, expediting, production, and delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations.
• Manage movement and disposition of rejected materials back to suppliers or source locations.
• Analyze and resolve material shortages through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Create and distribute daily production schedules using the Master Schedule.
• Process inbound and outbound material transactions.
• Audit material replenishment processes and inventory accuracy.
• Support material replenishment planning and inventory management activities.
• Expedite critical parts and resolve inventory discrepancies to prevent production disruptions.
• Review and manage critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
• Implement engineering release and change management updates affecting materials and inventory.
• Process emergency customer machine-down orders.
• Support factory inventory reduction initiatives including obsolescence and scrap programs.
• Manage receipt action keys and coordinate drop-in orders for manufactured parts.
• Coordinate Initial Service Order (ISO) shipments from the factory.
Summary:
Coordinate material planning, inventory management, and production support activities to ensure the timely availability of materials for manufacturing operations. Monitor inventory levels, resolve material shortages, manage procurement and replenishment processes, and support shipping, receiving, and distribution functions. Develop and maintain production schedules, analyze inventory discrepancies, implement engineering changes, and expedite critical parts to minimize production disruptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing efficiency, inventory optimization, customer order fulfillment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
